Following graduation from Point Loma, I worked before completing my B.B.A. from Cal Western Univ., San Diego. Then I continued working while I finished my M.A. in Psych and Human Behavior at U.SI.U., San Diego. In 1992, I received my Msc.D.(Doctorate, Metaphysical Sciences) from University of Metaphysics, Los Angeles.

I was employed by the U.S. Navy, Federal Civil Service in various positions in the Personnel Department. As a Race Relations Facilitator and Equal Opportunity Specialist in the 1970's, I helped to eliminate prejudice, racism and sexism. I won an award from Chief, NavMat, Washington, D.C., for developing a Career Counseling and Development Program for women to be trained in Blue Collar Jobs leading to the Journey Level, as well as career ladders leading to professional positions. After working for 25 years, I retired in 1985, as a GS-11, Training Specialist.

After retirement, became co-owner with my husband in our business; WELLNESS INFORMATION NETWORK. I am a Certified Flower Essence Practitioner and Licensed Clinical Hypnotherapist

I married Tom Burk 1970. No chldren. Have 6 yr. old Shi Tzu. Active member of First United Methodist Church, serving on committees, etc.

My hobbies include travel internationally as well as travel in own motorhome. By Sept. 2005, I will have travelled every state in the United States, including Alaska by motorhome and Hawaii by plane. I enjoy all kinds of music concerts, plays. I'm now writing a book; "Enjoy the Journey and Take Along What Matters".
