About Us

The Point Loma High School Foundation and Alumni Association is a non-profit 501c3 public benefit corporation. Our mission is to develop and provide the resources for enhancing the educational environment of Point Loma High School, with a goal of building Pointer Pride for generations past, present and future.

Designated by the school as the sole adult fundraising organization for Point Loma High, the PLHSFAA was formed in 2000 with the merger of the Alumni Association, PL Foundation, and Point Loma 2000.
In addition to facilitating fund raising for a variety of capital improvement and educational projects on campus, we fund scholarships for graduating seniors and serve as the umbrella organization for 12 parent Booster groups raising funds for specific student activities. The PLHSFAA continues to maintain the alumni database of over 34,000 Pointer grads.

The PLHSFAA connects with community members to increase the school’s value as a community asset.
